Everything you need to know about Leader of the Pack KW
I’ve always had a love for dogs and a passion for training, and I feel so fortunate that this passion has become my true calling. Helping dogs and their humans live happier, more connected lives together is the most rewarding job in the world and I’m lucky to do it every single day. In 2017, I founded Leader of the Pack KW with a goal to help both dogs and their humans build balanced, loving relationships rooted in a true understanding of dog psychology. Over the years, I have hosted hundreds of community pack walk events and supported countless families in building stronger relationships with their dogs. When I’m not working with clients or hosting events, my husband and I, along with our dogs (Lady, Winnie, and Bella) love going on adventures, taking day trips, and exploring local dog-friendly cafes.
To my husband, my pack of huskies and my wonderful family and friends; thank you for supporting and encouraging me on this journey. You all helped LOTP become what it is today.
Everything begins with the bond you share with your dog. We will focus on building trust, love, and respect in meaningful ways to help strengthen your relationship and make your life together easier, calmer, and more enjoyable.
We use balanced methods built on calm direction, fair expectations, and communication that makes sense for your dog. By using all four quadrants of training (including positive reinforcement) in a thoughtful, responsible way, we choose whatever approach best fits each individual dog.
Through an understanding of dog psychology and body language, we help owners build a stronger relationship with their dog. By gaining a deeper understanding of your dog you will get the tools and knowledge to foster a better relationship while learning to manage and prevent common behavioural issues.
